Tim loves to walk and has completed 2 of America’s long trails so far; the 2,150 mile Appalachian Trail in 1998 and the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail in 2002. Following this hike, Tim began a walk of a different sort and was baptized in June 2003.
In 2004, Tim walked the campaign trail as he ran for President of the US as a write in candidate. As part of the campaign, he, and his then fiancée Amy, walked over 600 miles on their Pilgrimage of Possibility from the Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts (this is the site of the first shot of the American revolution – they called it the first step of the evolution) to the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC.
Tim holds a BA in Political Science from Wichita State University awarded Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin Graduate School of Business.
Tim has worked in a number of occupations for a wide range of companies. From big corporations like Boeing Military Aircraft and Gillette (now part of Proctor & Gamble) to small start-ups. Most of his jobs were in or around manufacturing and distribution with responsibilities including materials planning, production scheduling, purchasing, contracts, systems and forecasting to strategic business planning, CFO and COO. Like many manufacturing employees, he has changed jobs due to plant closures, mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing.
Tim served on active duty for 4 years with the United States Air Force in food service and was stationed in Wichita, Kansas.
In 2003, Tim published a book titled American Transformation: How One Man’s Journey Turned Into a Campaign for the U.S. Presidency. While mostly a trail journal of his walk on the Pacific Crest, it also a call for a transformation in American policy and government from policies he believes are based on fear and greed to those based on Love.
Today, Tim and his wife Amy are working to raise their son and start their family businesses Angelsong Creations LLC which make mobile apps and digital products for new moms and Cat Game Apps LLC which makes funny pet apps.
He dreams that one day America will fulfill its divine purpose by rejecting fear and greed and leading the way to a Healthy World of Sustainable Peace and Prosperity for all.
